Yes...we are still here!

And grateful to be here. Hey, we had a great time this past Sunday at BOSS’s “Saved in the Shade” right in the middle of Sacramento's beautiful William Land Park. We enjoyed the praise and worship and the word. Sherwood keeps us fed. We talked with so many people. If you talked with us at our “Connie in Japan” table, let us know. We would like to hear from you.

Connie in Japan!

Hello everyone. Right now Connie is getting ready for Japan. She will be leaving in early September 08', so we are seeking sponsors to help get her there. I don't like to use the word fan because we are not stars, we are just messengers from the Lord God through song. However, when celebrities have fans, they support their favorite celebrity in everything they do. We are not asking for everything, but if God has blessed you through this ministry in any way, we are asking that you become a supporter for the “Connie in Japan” outreach.

We are looking for people who are willing to support Connie's efforts to bring the gospel to Japan in song. This is not a cold call for Connie. She was personally invited by Edwin Hawkins (Songwriter of "Oh Happy Day") to share the stage with him and his family. The Hawkins family is one of the oldest and most respected families in the music business. What an honor to share the gospel internationally with the Hawkins family….....we just couldn’t turn this opportunity down.

How wonderful it is to bring hope to a nation yearning for God's heart in praise and worship music. Of all the wonderful ministries we are blessed with in the USA, not to mention our regional artists, they chose Connie, our local gospel artist, to be one of the vessels used for this event. Wouldn’t it be great to know and share with others that you were one of the reasons she was able to go.

Connie will be blogging her activities daily, sending photos and hopefully a video feed of the event through this blog site and you will be able to interact with her along the way. She is giving away a copy of her first single from her Sophomore project (coming in 2009) to every person who donates to the "Connie in Japan" trip as a personal thank you and for becoming a part of this great opportunity.
